Luca Casini

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

Luca Casini founded his industrial design studio in Milan in 1997 shortly after graduating in Architecture. He has developed projects in very different sectors, from fashion accessories, jewellery, cutlery, furniture, furnishing accessories and art right up to mass-produced consumer products. He has worked with companies such as Arcade, Asa Selection, Auerhahn, Colgate-Palmolive, BIC, Daa Italia, Dupont de Nemours, Elchim, Elica, Fiam Italia, Fiat, Freudemberg, Kimberly-Clark, Luxottica Group, Newell Europe, Nike, Olivari, Pedrali, Riva Boats, Ritzenhoff, Technogym, Unilever, and WMF. He has received numerous international prizes and awards, and various of his projects have been exhibited in museums and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Luca Casini has taught at the Faculty of Design of the Polytechnic University of Milan. His expressive language is linear yet eclectic, evolving from a minimalist matrix of characteristic accents and essentially logical composition into more elaborate, communicative and abstract formal research, with the minimum common denominator in all his projects being the elegance of symbols and the harmony of forms.
